Roguelike

Description
An experimental comic inspired by the "roguelike" genre of role-playing video games. Roguelikes are modeled after the classic game Rogue and feature randomized layouts, enemies, and items. They are notorious for their difficulty, lack of a save option, and permanent death. I like to think of them as "arcade RPG's," since each play is essentially a test of how far you can get, how quickly you can make no-win decisions, and how lucky you are. What I appreciate about them most are the moments when I have no idea how I am going to survive for another second, but inexplicably manage to pull through for a little bit longer.
This book collects sequences one through three, a short, and pinups from Ashely Sudney, Jamie Hibdon, Ryan VanDyke, and Heath Van Singel.
